Starting this Saturday, October 5, 2013, our Braintree practice will be changing the hours they are open on the weekends and holidays for pre-scheduled, urgent care appointments. The hours will be as follows:
New Hours Old Hours
Saturdays: 9am – 4pm 10am – 5pm
Sundays: 10am – 3pm 12pm – 5pm
Holidays: varies based on the holiday. Please check our website 2-4 business days in advance of any holiday for a listing of practices open for urgent care and their hours.
At Braintree and at all of our practices, we will continue to offer telephone medical advice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All you have to do is call your doctor’s office. After regular office hours, phones are transferred to a team of Harvard Vanguard medical staff who can access your electronic medical record and provide medical advice and information by phone.
If necessary, our staff can consult an on-call Harvard Vanguard physician, schedule a next-day appointment with your doctor’s office, advise you to visit the emergency room, or if it’s a weekend or holiday, schedule you for a weekend/holiday urgent care appointment at Braintree or one of our 5 other practices in Boston (Kenmore), Chelmsford, Peabody, Somerville, or Wellesley that provide urgent care.
If you think you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, you should always call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
