Influenza, sometimes simply called “flu,” is a serious illness. Every flu season is different, and influenza infection can affect people differently. Even healthy people can get very sick from the flu and spread it to others. Therefore, the single best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each year. Harvard Vanguard practice sites are receiving shipments of their flu vaccine supply and will be scheduling appointments for seasonal flu vaccination as long as supply lasts. Our practice locations below offer flu vaccination for adults and children over the age of 6 months – some have walk-in clinics, but many require an appointment.
