Feeling sick? Just click! Coming later this winter, we are excited to announce a pilot program offering FREE video visits with an Atrius Health physician through MyHealth Online.
During the pilot phase, video visits will be available to adult primary care patients of our Harvard Vanguard Watertown, Medford and Post Office Square locations who need treatment for a limited set of common medical ailments.
To participate, you will need a MyHealth Online account and a computer or mobile device with a compatible browser, video and audio capabilities. But, most important is a willingness to try out this new way of getting care from the convenience of your home or office and to share your feedback with us on how it worked!
The 10 routine conditions which will qualify for a video visit during the pilot phase will be:
- Cold symptoms
- Allergies
- Sinus symptoms
- Acne
- Nausea/vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
- Urinary tract infection symptoms
- Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
- Insomnia
The video visit pilot will start-up later this winter, so all Harvard Vanguard Watertown, Medford and Post Office Square internal medicine patients, stay tuned for more information!
While the pilot will initially focus on three practice locations, we hope to expand this service to other offices and specialties as our providers (and you!) get more experience using video visits for appropriate types of care.
